For years I have recommended a Homework Helpers site by a young man called Beege. He started the site with the assistance of his father when he was very young. Since then the site has moved a time or two but it can now be found at http://school.discovery.com/homeworkhelp/bjpinchbeck/ You will be amazed at the information that you can find there. I always am!
Another amazing site that I have been recommending for as long as I have Beege's is http://www.bartleby.com/. Need a quote for a speech? Check out the impressive list at http://www.bartleby.com/73/ This site has grown with the years also!
I have been sending anyone with children to http://www.crayola.com/ Kids can color online or print the pages out to color with the Crayolas. Okay, I admit I have printed a few pages out to color with my Crayola Crayons myself!
An electronic magazine that says it is an Environmental Site for kids ages 4 to 8 but my opinion is that it is good for kids of all ages! http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/caer/ce/eek/ EEK is a wonderful and informative site! Everyone knows that I really like most bugs. I have never been known to kill a spider or beetle - although I can't say the same for fire ants - and the Critter Corner is a great place to learn about the insects.
