Hidden Pleasures in Champaign, Illinois |
|
I have often commented on the beautiful parks that we have in Champaign. I have lived in and visited many places and none have compared with Champaign when it came to having pockets of beauty around the community! One day as I drove down Fox Drive and admired the sculptures along the way, I thought about all of the treasures that I have seen off the beaten track. That is when I got the idea to create a web page dedicated to these hidden pleasures. I presented the idea to Keith and he thought it sounded great so in addition to our Civil War Project we have added the Hidden Pleasures of Champaign! I hope you enjoy the pictures and visit them soon. Pictures cannot do justice to the pleasures they bring when you are admiring them! This is an ongoing project and we are just getting started, but here are a few! |
