Brittany's Poem for her Grandpa

I remember the loving smile on your face

Your warm heart that was filled with grace

Your family who loved you and cared

And all the memories together we shared

Although I knew you only for a short while

The love went on for miles and miles

You will always be in our hearts

Just like you were from the very start

Calm and quietly God said it was your time

So up the stairway to heaven you climbed

Even though some continue to grieve

Deep down in our hearts we know you’re at peace

We look back on your life and it seems a beautiful fable

I love you very much Grandpa, But this is’nt my Good-Bye
