Christmas 2001 was fun and the kids all had a great time. John David's remote control Dinosaur seemed to be the hit of the evening for all of the kids (including me :-)

Mom got a beautiful quilt from our Aunt Margie in Texas (Dad's sister) so we got her a quilt rack to put it on. Finding a quilt rack was much more difficult than we expected!

Our youngest sister (in people years), Peggy, is on dad's lap. She is blind and getting a little deaf. Dad says she is getting difficult in her old age. Well, at least she waited until her old age to get difficult, unlike some people whose name I won't mention, but his initials are Raymond O. Clark. I told him one day that all the intelligent men I have ever known agreed with me. He replied that he must not be too intelligent because he never agreed with me. When I said, "Point made." Mom just about lost it. It is always nice to be able to get the last word in with Dad - and also rare!

Cleo loves to pick on Peggy. I told her it is not nice to pick on the handicapped but she doesn't much care. She loves her Grandpa and spends all of her time either sitting with him or following him around while Mom and I are out shopping.

Mom seems to have selective amnesia. I seem to recall we "drove her crazy". And we didn't even need a license to do.

I hope you enjoy reading the article. We are very pleased that Mom and Dad are Christmas Angels.

Linda

P.S. I am still only 55 years old unless there is something that Mom and Dad didn't tell me. On one of their anniversaries Dad said they had been married for more years than I was old. I replied that I was glad to know that - things that make you go hmmmm.
